Rodchenko Lamp
SOLD OUTJonathan Forsythe
An Alexander Rodchenko inspired LED indoor table lamp. I made a fully functional plastic version of this for a photoshoot from a single photograph, having to guess dimensions from the proportions I could see. For the life of me I couldn't find out who originally designed it or when, I thought it looked Italian. Turns out I was half right, it was a lamp designed by the Russian avant garde artist, Alexander Rodchenko for a play in 1929, then produced in Italy in the 1970's by Germano Celant and Gino Sarfatti.
